As the summer sun rolls in, so does a burst of new functionality in Arnica! May was an incredibly productive month for our engineering team, and we’re thrilled to share a round-up of impactful improvements that are significantly boosting user experience, workflows, and integration capabilities.
🟢 Filter Icon Redesign
No more mysterious three-dot menus—filters are now clearly labeled as filled or outlined icons, making them much easier to identify and use.
📊 Modernized Table Interface
Say goodbye to clunky null fields. Columns now display checkboxes for binary values and backfilled CVE and date fields for consistency and polish across the platform.
📋 Dismissal Reasons in Top-Level View & Exports
Dismissal reasons and context are now surfaced in the top-level findings table and are export-ready. This also enables two new types of reports: a SAST report and a product-level SCA report.
📡 Expanded Risk API Data
We’ve enriched our Risk API with a slew of new fields that improve traceability and third-party integration readiness.
🔄 Update Finding Status via API
Tired of dismissing the same false positive over and over? You can now update finding statuses in bulk through the API.
📦 Package Release Date Condition
Create policies that factor in how outdated a package is—like alerting on packages older than a year if a new version dropped within the last month. Great for keeping your dependencies fresh and secure.
🏢 Business Importance Conditions
Now you can set policy conditions based on the business importance of a repository or product, giving you fine-grained control over what risks deserve attention.
🏗️ IAC Rule Selection by Policy
Select which infrastructure-as-code rules run using the new iac_property condition.
🔐 Default Role Config for SSO
Admins can now define whether the lowest level of SSO access defaults to read-only product access or global read-only access. Flexible access control just got easier.
♻️ GitHub “Re-run” Command
New GitHub command lets you re-run stuck status checks directly from PR comments. A lifesaver when GitHub gets cranky post-outage.
📈 Git Summary Page
It’s back and better than ever! The new Git Summary page aggregates actionable Git insights—like stale repos or unenforced status checks—into interactive tiles with exportable lists.
All of these updates are already live and available in Arnica. And keep an eye out—some bigger feature announcements are coming soon! 👀
Integrate Arnica ChatOps with your development workflow to eliminate risks before they ever reach production.
